It's been almost a month since I've worked on the project but today I got the motivation to roll the leading edge of the right elevator. Seeing as it is a huge pain in the hands and very difficult to do this I thought I'd better not let this opportunity slip away. I started with the long 1 inch diameter PVC pipe that I used for the rudder. The rudder leading edge didn't turn out as pretty as I'd have liked it too and I think part of that is the PVC pipe is too large, both in length and diameter. Here's a shot of the big PVC pipe all ready to go before I decided to buy different sized pipe. I switched to a smaller diameter pipe and only rolled one section of the leading edge at a time instead of the whole length at once and it was much easier and came out much better. Here's the leading edge rolled and clecoed together. Here's a couple shots of the completed leading edge.
