Today was dedicated to building the wing stand. My carpentry skills suck so this probably should not have been an all day event but it was. And I'm still not quite done. Vans gives some plans for these but I'm not really in the position housing wise where I could screw 4x4 posts into both the garage ceiling and garage floor so I just sort of made up my own. Here are the stands more or less completed with the wings sitting on them.  And another shot. The tip ribs are not attached yet, the stand arms are just going under the main spar and in between the last two ribs.  **Edit** - Jump forward a day and here is how I attached the tip ribs to the stand. The 1.5x1.5" angle gave me the ability to leave a gap between the rib and the stand to get the skin in there without having to notch the wood.
