I dove right in today to making the leading edge landing light cutouts. You better believe it that I was nervous about putting a giant hole in my nice leading edges but it turned out to be not that big of a deal. I had traced the cutout yesterday so I started today by using the cutoff wheel in the Dremel and did a rough cut of the holes and got within about 1/8" of the cut line.   Then I filed down the edges to the cut line.  Then I went back to a sanding drum in the Dremel to clean up the corners of the cutouts and get everything to its final shape. This ate up a bunch of sanding drums but it worked well in the end. After that was done, I deburred the edges of my new cutouts. Here they are in all their glory.
