I continued on the lights today. First, I mounted the ballasts to the mounting bracket using zip-ties, then I installed the lights. I'd say they turned out pretty well.  I'm not sure if I need to secure the wire to the light better, it might be a little loose and rub on something but I'll have to think more and maybe solicit some opinions.  Then I installed the lights in the leading edges. All pretty straight forward stuff.  Finally I got the lenses out, traced the shape they needed to be, and then cut them to shape with the Dremel cutting disc and then smoothed them with the Dremel drum sander, then 100 grit sand paper, and finally with 400 grit sand paper. I am quite pleased with how my first skirmish with the plexiglass turned out! Believe it or not, it's hard to get a telling and detailed shot of clear plexiglass pieces...
