I continued working on the stiffeners tonight. I got them labeled and drilled to the skins. The one on the left here has been drilled and the stiffeners have already been marked and taken off as well as the skins has been deblued. On the right, the stiffeners are only drilled. In my mental boredom while drilling all these holes, I got kind of curious as to how to tell the top from the bottom of these things (there is a left and a right skin so there must also be a specific top and bottom to each skin) because both sides of the bend look identical. While it doesn't really matter right now, I feel that later on, it might be an important piece of information... Then I moved inside and started deburring the holes. I wanted to watch the National Championship game while I deburred so I taped a plastic bag to my knees and sat in my chair and deburred the stiffeners like so. The bag did a great job catching all the shavings. I also got the inside of the skins deburred. I got tired before I got to deblueing and deburring the outside of the skins as well as deburring the edges so that will come tomorrow along with dimpling, priming, and if I'm on my A game maybe even riveting.
