Wings :: WingHung right aileron
1.5 Hours
I had done much of the hard work yesterday when I learned how to hang an aileron when I did the left one and also made all the parts required. Today went much smoother than yesterday but being that I was mounting an aileron it was still quite frustrating. All the little washers are a pain in the butt and even worse is getting the aileron lined up in its neutral position and then fiddling with the control rod to get it set to the right length and the lock nuts tightened down.
Anyway, it's on there now so I just need to finish putting the bolts on the bell crank and then maybe put on the long control tubes but next up is putting the flaps on.
