Empennage :: ElevatorsFiled right elevator counterweight

Boring day on the project today. The counterweights for the elevators come from the factory in the same shape but you need to remove a portion of the right elevator counterweight because the right elevator weighs less than the left elevator because the left side has the trim servo and trim tab which adds a little extra weight to it. I guess if you have a band saw or hack saw or something similar this would be quick and painless, but I don't. I have a file, so I used a file. And it took forever. Well not forever, approximately two hours. Anyway, here is the finished product for the day's work. You can see on the plans in the background where it tells what to remove as a comparison for before and after.
