Today was a big day... the empennage kit arrived! So what does an airplane in a box look like? Well kind of like this:  And inside the boxes:   Next comes the inventory. First take all the parts out of the boxes, which is much more difficult than it sounds because the parts are held in place with what I would call a ridiculously excessive amount of the strongest tape I've ever seen (much stronger than duct tape). Then compare what was in the boxes with a four page long list of what should've been in the boxes. Survey says: they match. Now that the formalities are out of the way I'm really excited to start building an airplane tomorrow!
