Wings :: TanksSealed right tank end ribs
2 Hours
Today I dove head first back into the proseal. First thing I did was I cleaned up the edges of the end ribs and then buttered them up with proseal and riveted them in. I only got the right tank done tonight. After they were in, I cleaned up the proseal explosion while they were still wet. I think maybe I'll do cleanup after the rivets are set on the left tank to see if it goes a little smoother. The clecos hide proseal and catch the cleaning rag making it tough to get clean. Have a gander at the prosealed and cleaned end ribs if you will.
Afterwards I spent a good 40 minutes cleaning up about 100 clecos. I left exactly 132 clecos uncleaned which leaves me enough to cleco the baffle in after sealing them one tank at a time. It wasn't too bad cleaning the dried proseal off, it just took a little rubbing between my finger tips to get the gunk off.
