Over the past week, I've been doing a major overhaul to the website! What's this mean for you? Well,not much changed on the outside so not much. If you had a specific page bookmarked (other than the home page), then the bookmark will not work as the page address changed. I've put the whole build log in a database so it's now much easier to manage and update. Now instead of writing each log entry as HTML code in it's own page and then updating five other pages to get the information on all the related pages, I simply use a web form that I created and type in regular english. The beauty of the database is I don't have to update any pages or hour totals, the form sends the information to the database and the pages populate themselves accordingly. It's pretty awesome! One thing to note is the new previous page and next page buttons that you see on the log entries will take you to the entry from the next or previous calendar day, not necessarily the one that follows it in the subcategory.
