To start off the day, I finished up riveting the aileron brackets. To countersink the holes that I mentioned in yesterday's entry, I just took the cage off the countersink and free-styled it. The drill still hit the top of the bracket so the countersinks are just kind of angled, but they work. After finishing up the aileron brackets, I went inside to warm up my hands and feet. Then, after regaining feeling in my extremities, I clecoed on the flap brace and match drilled them. I really don't know what this piece does, but it is probably the single coolest looking piece on the project so far. Or maybe just the wings. The elevator horn was pretty cool... I got both sides drilled and deburred so now they are ready to be riveted. Tomorrow I'll get the gun out and attach these bad boys.
