It was a quick day in the garage working on the project. I got a late start and was pretty tired because I played a round of golf this afternoon. All I did was finish drilling the main skins. I moved all the clecos down one hole or over one hole and then drilled the hole they had previously occupied. Then I marked lines on the bottom skins that intersect in the middle of the tie-down hole. I don't really know why you do this but the instructions told me to so I am going to just trust them on this one. After marking the lines, I removed the bottom skins. To add a little more content to this entry and also to spice it up, I will give a tip to other builders. See this: Don't do this. That's where I decided to drill a small hole into the side of my thumb: mistake #1. Don't worry, it didn't go too deep as fortunately my knuckle bone stopped it! Anyway, it hurt pretty decently when I first did it but I went in and washed it out and put a bandaid on it. Flash forward a few days and it's healing pretty well but the scab starts to get cracks in it and I think it's now infected because it hurts again and has turned red and swollen: mistake #2. With that being said, builders tip: keep drill bits on the outside of your fingers! (Also keep them outside of your forearm. It hurts less than a thumb, but it still hurts)
