I didn't have too much motivation today but I know there aren't too many work sessions left on these tanks so I just got out there anyway. What I ended up doing was prosealing the baffle into the right tank. I started out by cleaning the baffle and tank skin where the proseal will go. I slathered up the flanges of the baffle and the rear flanges of the ribs with a thin layer of sealant. Then I put a bead of sealant along the baffle rivet line and the inside edge of the rear flange of the outboard tank ribs. No pictures of this stage due to stickiness. After the parts were all buttered up, I slid the baffle in place and clecoed every single hole. Here is a look at the bead of sealant after the baffle has squeegied it down when the baffle slid into place. In this picture it is the seam that comes in from the left side of the picture and meets at the corner thats in the middle-ish of the picture. I stopped here for the night due to the lack of motivation. And Glee was on. Tomorrow the baffle will get its rivets.
